Uganda Salary Survey Network
With increased competition, every CEO and HR Manager is concerned about attracting the right talent, retaining and motivating them. How do the salary and benefits offered by your organization compare with the market?
It is important to have a clear understanding of the remuneration levels in the market for determining the positioning of your Organization, as far as the reward management is concerned. Future Options has therefore launched this Salary Survey Network to provide you with the information necessary to develop an up-to-date reward management system.
Salary Survey Report
Future Options will collect the relevant data from the Network members, analyse the data and present a report on the salary and benefits structure in the market. The details of any individual organization will not be available to the members of the Network. Information collected will be analysed and statistical information on the survey findings will only be presented in the report.
At the same time, the current position of the individual organization vis-à-vis the market will be shown in the report to that organization. This will facilitate easy comparison and decision making.
For example the graph will show 25th Percentile (showing what is paid by the lowest 25%of the Network members, 75th Percentile (What is paid by the highest 25%), mean (average) and median. Graphs and charts will enable you to assimilate the information easily.
Salaries and benefits for different levels and functions
The Report will show break up of basic salaries and allowances for different levels of employment. Appropriate ‘benchmark-jobs’ will be used to grade jobs into eight different levels (semi-skilled, skilled, Junior Management, middle management etc.) and also for different functions (Marketing, Finance, Operations, Engineering etc). The use of Benchmark Jobs will enable you to compare ‘the like with the like’.
Cash and Non-Cash Benefits
The Report will indicate separately the cash and non cash benefits for each level. This will provide clarity on how the Salary and benefits are structured.
